Last updated: February 18, 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Blogic s.r.o. (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use andocs (andocs.cz), a documentation management platform that centralizes markdown documentation from GitHub repositories. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. If you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive basic profile information from those providers. If you register with email and password, we store a securely hashed version of your password.

2.2 Organization and Project Data

We store information about the organizations and projects you create or join, including organization names, member roles, project settings, and connected GitHub repositories.

2.3 Documentation Content

We store and process the markdown documentation synced from your GitHub repositories, as well as any documentation you create or edit directly within andocs. This includes comments, annotations, and revision history.

2.4 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, page views, and search queries for security, analytics, and service improvement purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the andocs documentation platform
  • To authenticate users and manage organization membership and permissions
  • To synchronize documentation from connected GitHub repositories
  • To provide search, navigation, and AI-assisted documentation features
  • To send service-related notifications (e.g. invitations, comments, updates)
  • To monitor service performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. Third-Party Services

andocs integrates with the following third-party services:

  • GitHub: To sync documentation from your repositories. We access repository content you explicitly authorize.
  • Google and GitHub OAuth: For authentication. We receive only basic profile information (name, email, avatar).
  • Stripe: For payment processing. We do not store your payment card details; these are handled directly by Stripe.
  • Sentry: For error tracking and performance monitoring. Sentry may receive anonymized error reports and performance data.
  • AI Providers: When you use AI-assisted features, your queries and relevant documentation context may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Within Your Organization: Other members of your organization can see your name, email, and role as part of normal platform functionality.
  • Service Providers: With trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales with appropriate privacy protections.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. This includes encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, secure authentication protocols, and regular security assessments. Our infrastructure runs on managed Kubernetes with access controls and monitoring.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and documentation content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or remove a project, associated data is deleted within 30 days. Technical logs and anonymized analytics data may be retained longer for security and operational purposes.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data (data portability)
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@andocs.ai.

9. Cookies and Tracking

andocs uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics data is collected through server-side logging, not client-side trackers.

10. Children's Privacy

andocs is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
